This Anjou-Villages grown on schist is the smaller of the two AOC Anjou Villages from Pierre-Bise’s Anclaie terroir. The stress of the situation and the drying properties of the clay require a constantly low load of grapes, which is why green harvesting is important for this plot. When this task is performed, the tannins are of sufficient quality to give the wine aromatic depth and an almost immediate minerality.
